About the work.
Ivory is a writer and podcaster based in Los Angeles. This is where the essays go — the ones long enough to need a room of their own, the ones that won't fit anywhere else, the ones that arrive faster than they can be filed.
The work is the organizing principle. Everything else — the shifts, the pod, the city, the people — feeds it or doesn't. This site is the place it all gets stitched together.
